That's why my speakers and I will be on-site throughout the whole event with informative sessions and motivating presentations to help you put the focus on YOU and your business so you can literally "do the work" to make the most of this new year and the new decade.

In 2018 she sold her finance blog, carefulcents.com, for nearly six figures. She details the process in her book, The Ultimate Guide to Selling a Blog: How to Sell Your Blog for Six Figures and Be Your Own Broker, which is available on Amazon.

Tracie started PennyPinchinMom.com in January 2009 as a way to share coupons and discounts with other moms on a budget. From there, she learned everything there was to know about blogging! Sierra Robertson will share how to take the dread out of opening your inbox, Charlotte Baker will return to the stage to show you how to better utilize Gmail (because you know we all use it!), and Allea Grummert will share her tips to maximize your email marketing with ConvertKit. We'll wrap up this transformational day with networking and cocktails before heading to our rooms to take action on our homework!

This is where the rubber meets the road -- unlike other conferences and retreats, you'll be making specific goals and plans to take what you've learned and put it into action once you leave!

WHY KANSAS CITY?
Easy! Nothing beats the plains states in the winter. Nothing!
All kidding aside, Kansas City is a gem.
I decided to host my first event in Kansas City, MO for two reasons:
It’s just about as centrally located as you can get in the US. Kansas City is smack dab in the middle and can be reached easily from just about anywhere. I didn’t want to do something on the west coast or east coast and make it harder for people who may have to fly in from various locations around the US.
It’s affordable! Although KC is growing, it’s no San Diego, Miami, or New York City. Accommodations and discretionary spending is much lower in the Midwest. I didn't want this event to be out of reach for attendees due to finances.
LOCATION & LODGING
The Do the Work event will be hosted at the Courtyard by Marriott Kansas City Airport.

I choose this specific hotel for a few reasons:
- I wanted something that was easy to access from the airport, that way my attendees who are flying in don’t have to worry about traveling very much further to get to the event.
- I wanted to offer a free shuttle service to the hotel from the airport so help you save time and money.
- Cozy and plush. There is so much space but the hotel also feels warm and inviting. I wanted to offer my attendees something that was affordable but not cheap, and this hotel doesn’t disappoint.
- It has an indoor pool and jacuzzi! While we will be busy during the day with work and speakers, the nights are all yours to relax and unwind. I was happy to find a hotel that offered inside swimming and relaxing accommodations.
